Naturally golden blonde hair – strawberry blonde with gold NATURAL highlights – I have never artificially coloured/bleached/dyed my hair. I have German and European heritage – my mother’s hair was auburn and my grandfather’s hair was almost identical to mine.
I receive compliments on my hair frequently, and people often ask me if it’s dyed – but it is 100% natural, the different colours come through due to how the sun hits my hair whilst worn daily in a braid. The top layers get lightened by the sunshine in Summer.
Hair is washed every 3rd day with natural organic shampoo and conditioner (Brand: PPC Herbs Organic).
Hair is braided in a single plait daily to preserve health, very limited split ends or breakage – Slight wave to hair pictured is a result of hair having been in a braid. Once left for a few hours it is naturally straight. The hair fibers are beautiful and thick, lovely lush weight to it.
Lightly curled with a low-heat straightener by a professional stylist once a year for special occasion, using natural heat protection product before the styling.
I am a Nutritionist, so my diet is very clean and this reflects in the health and strength of my hair. I am a non-smoker and drink one glass of wine once per month. I don’t use products/hairspray/mousse etc – it is kept natural and I never use harsh chemicals. A few times per year I apply natural Argan oil to keep it shiny, hydrated and conditioned.
My natural hair colour, particularly in this level of thickness, with the natural colour variation, is extremely rare and desirable.
