This hair has not been colored and is very well taken care of . 3 inches at the bottom are not virgin but is not included in the length. I measured 17 inches all the way down to the bottom but listed 12 inches as virgin for sale. Very rarely have I used heat on my hair. If I do use heat , I use a thermal spray. I use products to keep its health including oils and hair masks .
